truckguy82 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Anyone know what a shop should charge for labor for installing the 5100's up front. I already did the rears, took like 15 minutes lol. The fronts I called up a few shops and got 2 quotes, $350 and $400, that's just for labor. 4 hours labor. That seems really expensive.
oodmoff Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 (edited) I was quoted $350 from 4wheel parts for just the front, found a small local shop to do all 4 for 200 bucks in all fairness 4whl parts is having a presidents day sale for 15% off and free install. will get a picture from the side loaded up... I paid $270 for front install and alignment.
truckguy82 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Local shops I’m assuming? Pep boys was $350 without alignment. I’d assume thats a nationwide price.
truckguy82 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Screw it might just do them myself, just tired of getting dirty and I’m so busy these days. $150 I’d do, but $350 def not
jgraves13 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Looks great! Did you do new rear blocks too, or just leave the stock ones? Really like your exhaust btw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They took mine back no issues, and I ended up buying a replacement from a different distributor. Yea Bilstein will not warranty. Total BS!
Mileguru Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 4 Wheel Parts has a President's Day sale on the adjustable 5100s + free install (great deal for the fronts) + $152 alignment + tax...so $535 out the door price for me in southern CA. I can't decide whether to do this or just remove the rear block for free. My goal is to level the truck as much as I can and probably keep the stock tire size. I will not tow anything. I have a supercharger too, so maybe lowering the rear an inch and a half is better than raising the front. Is it a wise idea to remove the rear block to accomplish this level?????
