Chevy Uses SEMA to Launch New Crate Engine Lineup

With the SEMA show now underway, Chevy is leveraging the enthusiast attention on aftermarket equipment to highlight its new line of crate engines for your project car. The company has released information on three sets of engines and transmissions, all of which have unique characteristics for those building something special.

The new LT376/535 engine builds upon the LT1 by adding 75 horsepower. Chevy says the LT376 "... is architecturally similar to the LT1 and LS family of small-block engines, but with a unique block casting, cylinder head design, oiling system, and more. It retains the advanced technologies of the LT1, including Direct Injection to support an advanced combustion system to create a more than capable engine for your project."
