OnStar unlimited data $20

Wait what? We don't get all the XM channels?

Sure don't! There's channels in the 300 range, our head units only go up to 220? I can't recall off the top of my head. My honda went that high and our subaru as well. Disappointing really!

I signed up this morning as well. I have a Roku connected to my MVI 360 camera module and a headrest monitor for my daughter in the back so I can now stream unlimited Sesame Street and Cat in the Hat for her through the PBS kids app. As an FYI the connection can be throttled after 22GB.

I can not find anywhere on Onstar's website where they will throttle your data after 22GB. This is an Onstar account. All I see is "Unlimited data at 4G-LTE speed". Onstar does note that it is subject to AT&T Session Based Wireless Data Services Agreement available at http://www.att.com/USTermsandconditions. I read it and nowhere does it state that they will throttle the speed.

Somebody please correct me if I am missing something here.

Everybody throttles. Some guys just lie and say that they don't. But trust me, they do.

I signed up early Friday morning and there were issues with the site so I pushed the OnStar button and signed up by phone. The rep read the disclaimers and it was one of the things in the "fine print". I haven't seen it in writing but I expected it as that is how all the carrier's do it.

Now how do I figure out how to pay $20 a month for unlimited onstar and ditch my $60 a month home Internet bill?

That'd be nice!

I added this to my AT&T account great deal get it before its gone! Also you can merge your onstar data to your AT&T account if you have one.

Since its so new you will need to call OnStar and they will call AT&T to transfer the info... from the truck to AT&T.

What is the point of merging it with your att account

I pay OnStar annually, I pay cell phone monthly. I'd rather watch the charges on my AT&T bill vs OnStar its whateve's

As in I can use my unlimited onstar data on my AT&T cell phone lines?

Does anyone know if a hardware update exists out there? For instance if I got it from a newer truck if I could swap the 4G LTE equipment in? Everything I've read online says no, but I'm still getting used to owning a GM.

Thanks!
