Waze is now available on AA!!!!

Good news for people that have been waiting on Waze for AA, Waze released an updated yesterday and I notice it said it is now available on AA! It will not work on stand-alone, you have to plug it up to your car, then you can double tap the map and you will get a choice of either Google Maps or Waze!!

About time Google/Waze!!

You can now use Waze with Android Auto. There was an update yesterday and in the release notes, it said it can now be used in AA!

So for you guys using AA and been wanting Waze, you can get to using it. It only works when it's connected to the car, not in the stand-alone version.

I did the same thing when I found out yesterday . I used it today and I really like it...I missed the road alerts. Thanks to Waze for finally getting this done.

Right! It updated yesterday and was reading the release notes(yes, been reading them every time I saw an update, lol), but was late and didn't feel like going to check it until today. [emoji23]

I've used Waze for years, but don't have AA on my radio, since I have a '15. I use it on my phone, mounted high on the dash.

This may be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. I have a 15' SLT with Nav but I use Waze on my phone sometimes to navigate through traffic jams. Can AA be downloaded as an App to the truck so AA & Waze can be used as the Nav in place of the GM version?

Android Auto (or Apple Carplay) only available in 2016 and new GM trucks. Must use USB cord between phone and truck - no bluetooth. For Android users only, we have the option of Google Maps or Waze. Apple users cannot use Waze thru Apple Carplay.
