I've searched for an answer but can't find one identical to my question...I apologize if I missed it. I've got a 2007 Silverado w/ 4.8L, manual shift for 4WD. My 4x4 light stays on even when I'm in 2WD. I can switch to 4Hi or even 4Lo and back to 2WD and light stays on regardless. What could cause this issue? Thanks in advance.

  Washers were just for fitment check obviously. I'd never drive that it that way. I checked one front tire. Its turns fine with about .165" washer pack.

  Sounds like the trailer brake power module failed. Common on these.

  100% agree, you will lose alot of strength by using washers your studs will be carrying all the weight. You are setting yourself up for a disaster.

  Older trucks had to have a fuse and wire connected underhood... You could check that. I've noticed a lot of aftermarket discrepancies between wire standard colors/plug terminal location function. If you've never used the trailer on a GM truck it might be something to check.

  Washers? I hope you aren't serious about just running washers. Or using them with spacers. Either do spacers, or get new wheels.
