Code U0422-71

Recently after driving through the rain I my 4x4 light turned on and stayed on as if it was engages. I am getting code U0422-71 and everything is running normal. I assumed something by the front differential got wet, I unplugged them all and cleaned them. No luck. Thank you in advance!

Always post the code definition with the code, as you can see most folks will skip over your post rather than look them up. there are over 18000 possible codes, no one knows them all. Did you try clearing the code?, Disconnecting the battery may reset the module, What vehicle are we working on? some have the switch for the light on the transfer case

You should check yourself again to avoid problems when it rains, that's the best way. In addition, when you see anything unusual, turn off all electrical equipment to ensure safety for yourself and others. tiny fishing
