Which size tires will fit?

Hello,

 

I have purchased a 2015 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4 LTZ. I am getting a 2.5 inch RC leveling kit installed tomorrow and I am wanting to go ahead and place the order for some 33 inch M/T's. My buddy has a 2014 Silverado and he installed 33X12.5X20's without any scrubbing. My question is will the 33X12.5X20s fit on my stock LTZ without scrubbing or will I need to get a different 33 inch tire? I know they come in different conversions but I wasn't sure if those would fit or not.

from what I read on this before, on the Sierra all terrain stock wheels people were running 295/55/20 comfortably. As for anything bigger, I know some people were having issues with rubbing on the upper control arm due to the factory rim offset and width of the tire.

Is that with or without a leveling kit? I have called some tire shops and they said the 33/12.5/20s should fit and may scrub with very tight turns.

33 is usually the max size tire on 2.5" leveling kit. it will probably rub a little being 12.5 wide though

There are so many post on this and I've been wondering a lot of the same questions. Is the 2.5" kit the one with leaf spacers also? Or just the front?

I got the 2.5 inch front leveling kit no back spacer. I ordered the 295x55r20’s. I hope they don’t look too small. I am pretty sure I could’ve fit the 33/12.5’s but I didn’t want to bother with the scrubbing.
