2018 GMC Sierra SLE high beams

Brand new GMC Sierra SLE crew, when I'm parked and I turn the high beams on I hear a clanking noise under the hood? But not when I'm driving. Is this normal? (First time GMC owner)

Ok! Just super weird.  I guess it has some mechanical mechanism when they turn on???

These new trucks have projector style headlights that have a flap to control high/low beam. The noise is the flap opening/closing, depending on your hearing sensitivity, road conditions, etc. you can hear the flap open and close when activating while driving.

Yep normal.  Its the shutter in the projector in the headlight.
