Removed the tow hooks, cut the opening, re used the foam and bolted the mounts on. Had to drill 2 extra 1/2 inch holes.

I like it, what mounts did you use? Link?

Prepped and plasti-dipped my stock chrome steps. Now the fiancé can get in and out of the truck a little easier.

This will do until I get AMP’s.

Here is the link, I'm not into the goofy expensive hooks they sell. I just used regular hooks. I ordered the isolator lit for the rings. Its soft washers and a boot for the ring to quiet them.

Thanks I’ve seen those AMI ones, they are affiliated with Rough Country. So were they not a direct bolt on product? You mentioned you had to drill 2 new holes.

Associated with readylift, that's where the shipment came from.  The stock tow hooks have a thru bolt and a short one. I had to drill one side of the hole and add a bolt.  No big deal actually.

Yes, AMI and ReadyLift are sister companies.  Neither are affiliated with Rough Country.

Finally was able to wash the salt off and put on the aircraft coating. I’ve had her for a little over a month and wasn’t able to put the coating on before because I had to buy it, lol. Seeing all the salt covering it was driving me crazy so even though it’s only 40 degrees out I washed and applied the coating... I feel better now :)
