tanner709 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 They look cheap as hell, imo. The top looks better, but still kind of tacky to me. OEM projector is very stylish, hopefully something can be incorporated - in time.
Kevin Grogan Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Just did the Sealight swap today. Left is halogens, right side is the new Sealights.

Method2Madness Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Threw a set of Hikari Lumileds in mine. Super bright with a good beam pattern that doesn’t seem to bother people. Carries down the road even better than the stock halogens.
Flatblack83 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 (edited) I tried the h11 from lifetime led, the dust caps didn't fit on because the plugs on a 90 degree angle and runs into the lip for the cap. So now I have morimoto 2 stroke 2.0 h11's. They are super bright and match the factory led fog lights almost perfectly. They are expensive tho, around 145.00. They need to be adjusted so they shine nice and aren't all over the place. Edited November 1, 2019 by Flatblack83

Kevin Grogan Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 You would come out and your wheels and headlights would be stolen.

Lol. They do some real shady shit. Many other companies have been scammed by the owner of HID retrofit kit. Additionally the jerk goes around and leaves bad reviews on other builder pages even though they have never done business.Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 1

Just make sure you buy mini or low profile bulbs as most of the LED bulbs have the large cooling fans with heat sinks mounted on the back of each bulb and you won't be able to reinstall the dust covers. Whatever you buy, make sure the bulbs are low profile as there's not as much room directly behind the bulbs like on previous years. My '14 Silverado Rally 2 I just traded in had room for the large cooling fans on the rear of the bulbs. But this isn't the case with the '19's. These are the ones I just installed in my truck. I bought the 9005/H11 4piece set. What a difference in color and brightness.. 110% better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNG5S5P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hope this gives you an idea of what you need to change your headlights out. In the photo the left are the stock bulbs and new LED's on the right. Thanks for the suggestion. I ordered and installed mine over the weekend. The lights are much brighter and look a whole lot better than the stock halogens! 1
Dunn Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 cant believe LED aren't just standard lights by now, in every car.....I do have em on my RST and coming off a tundra with halos its not even a comparison....but they should be stock on any car by now
Jim stone Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Rott, Thanks for the info . Installed mine this week and love them so far. Just drove from Indiana to Florida on Sunday with no problems. Question I had did you just stick the whole wire in the hole and put the cover back on. That’s what I did. To change the Hi beams you better have a friend with small arms. Mine looked like a shark got ahold of them just changing the low beams. Thanks again.

Jim, Yes, I took the remainder of the wires and stuffed them Inside the hole next to the bulb and put the rubber boot back on.. I agree, when your done your arms/hands look like you landed a small shark and he gave one last fight. GM definitely didn’t leave much room to change the bulbs. I installed a pair of these bulbs in my wife’s Chevy Trax Redline and it took 2 mins. The headlights are right out in the open. It’s going on 9 months now with these headlights and they’re still working flawless.
TrustyDusty Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Got my 2019 Trail Boss Custom a week ago as a Black Friday deal of the day. Sealight LEDs were my first upgrade and many more upgrades arriving this week. These Sealights are a huge upgrade for being plug and play @$135... 1
