Transmission problem? HELP

Ok..let me try and explain this lol..a few weeks ago my radiator busted and coolant got in the trans..happened backing in driveway so it didnt move at all with water inside.car place fixed radiator..but they had 2 flush the trans twice b4 the fluid looked right..they refuse to fix anything else and now my trans is acting bad...when i first drive in the mornings first gear revs high and the gears off/on need high rpms to change...but when it get to overheated it switches all gears perfect BUT jerks when shifting gears....also takes about 10mins to get trans temp 180..never did that until the coolant got in...2500hd 4x4 6.0 4l80e..any help would be great..thanks

Any time coolant gets in the transmission the fiber comes off the clutch plates and bands. Usually takes out the thrust washers also. The unit must be completely overhauled with a new converter. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
