Is that the 6'9" bed?

If so, what are you pulling with it and how far can you turn before there is a cab clearance issue?

It’s the 6’9” box. We currently have a 2018 Cedar Creek Silverback. Pulled it with a non slider Reese Elite in my 2016 6’6” for three years.

Going forward I can turn as short as possible and not hit. Backing up in a forced jack knife I can hit. Don’t know the degrees. I tried it after install and to be honest the stress on the axles, tires  and wheels was more of a concern. I am careful and watch very close when backing up. I currently have BW hitch installed with pivot point all the way forward. If I become more concerned I can move it back 2 inches although the end gate might be getting close.

So, after speaking to curt about my 2020 hitch choices. Any one of Curt’s hitch heads will work with any truck. You just have to get the specific set of legs for you truck. Got mine yesterday from GM  5B3CCE97-BD20-4115-B8FC-A938E010B78D.thumb.jpeg.7c441b5520f259e2b380ad7f6fa94655.jpeg

As the sole reason of getting a 3500 and researching hitches like crazy, is the 6'9" bed noticeably better without a slider?

They pushed the factory prep back, the bed is bigger, so yes its easier for non sliding hitches to work on the new bed sizes.

Nice camper you got there! We just got an Eagle 355 and I got the Reese Goosebox 16k installed on it. Pulled it around a few miles to test it out and seemed to do well. Which Eagle do you have?

Has anyone made the Curt 16024 Pucks work with the A16 hitch?  their website says only A20, A25, or A30.  I have an A16, of course!
