JLT oil catch can for 2019 Silverado

Recently purchased 3.0 JLT oil catch can. As I went to install it on my Silverado I honestly didn’t really see if it would fit so I backed off to get more info. Has anyone installed a oil catch can on the 2019 Silverado? The main reason for stopping the install was that the intake has some piece on the left holding it together that i can’t seem to find a way to get loose. I loosened the clamps to the air box and Intake manifold but some weird peice on the left is still holding it together when i attempted to take the intake off.

Are you talking about the clip on the left hand side under the intake resonator box? Been a little while since I did my CAI, but as memory serves...you have to swing the whole intake tube assembly up counter clockwise to disengage it. Basically pretend that clip is a hinge and swing that whole tube WAY up past vertical, and to roughly the 10 o’clock position. It’ll come off with a little wiggle when it’s in the right spot.

Not the CAI I bought, but this vid shows that intake part being removed. Probably easier to see it done rather than work off my written directions!

I figured it out! I was watching the 2018 model video but I found one for 2019

and finally got it on. A little different instruction but basically same process.

Just received my JLT can. The directions dont match my 6.2  My hose appears to be right up front. It couldnt be any easier.

 Is that the correct hose? pic attached.

Never mind. JLT got back to me. That's the hose
