I did the adjustable 5100s on my 6.2, gain was about 1"  using the 1.1 setting.   I would not do the block, but it all depends on your preference, the Bilsteins improve overall ride performance for sure.

Not knowing much about these shocks, is the 1.1" on the highest setting for these or could you go higher?  Also, the part numbers I found are different than yours.  Any idea why? SKU: 2x24-293297_2x24-293471

Thanks.  Nice truck you got.  Hoping mine will look like that sometime this winter.

Anyone put the ride height adjustable Bilsteins on a 6.2L?  Wondering if you have a before and after measurement to see how much it raised the front.  Heard it might not raise it as much a a 5.3L because of weight?  Just wondering if you can get by with putting these on instead of the 2" spacers for a leveling kit and gain the same rise to fit tire sizes that also fit a level.

In my instance, this would be for a High Country

I have a High Country with 6.2l & Max Tow and did these as well, I had one of the 1st sets out earlier this year and they didn't have the adjusted height chart for the 6.2's. Mine are at the middle 1.5 inch or new 6.2 level .9. I only realized they added a new 6.2 chart last week as I was thinking of making some changes and couldn't remember original chart settings. At least I now know why the thing has more rake that I thought it should have, I will be pulling these back out and going to setting 6 or 204903031_19Chevy.thumb.jpg.4d571b48dcad8fbbe37eebd352a67d08.jpg1.9in. Anyway I can take some measurements if you need just let me know.

Here's mine with current 1.5in back and .9 in front.

Here's the new chart I found last week, this should give you a good idea on lift height settings.image.thumb.png.25e7620d136071ac32161f9dadc646f3.png

Thanks everyone. Not looking for what height they are now, just how much one can expect these shocks to lift it from stock.  So, with the 6.2L, one can assume a 1.5" lift at the highest setting.

Bilstein has separate 5100 front shocks for the TB/AT4 trucks.  They only have 3 settings: Stock, 0.50”, and 1.1” is the highest.

I had the GM 2" kit installed at the dealer on my 6.2L and then upgraded the shocks to the Bilsteins (see my post above).    As far as warranty, typically unless the modification is the direct cause of a failure, you're good.  Also depends on the relationship with your dealer in my experience, and how much your modification impacts things.   In this case, changing shocks isn't really a big deal, unless you do something that dramatically alters setup.    if your dealer hates any kinds of modifications, stay clear of them :)

So, how was the ride with the GM 2inch lift before the Bilstein upgrade? I assume the Ranchos that come in that kit were an improvement over stock

Well it had Ranchos on it already, so there was no noticeable change, the Bilsteins are an improvement for sure.

I purchased mine at Summit Racing, after verifying first the right parts on Bilsteins site.   The part numbers are different for Trailboss as pewterliftedz noted above.  Once you install the GM 2" kit, you've effectively made the truck into a trailboss.

So is that option the ones that have only the settings at stock, 0.5", and 1.1"??  Is that 1.1" over and above the 2" after installing the GM lift? Like 3.1" total?

Yes, I'm at the 1.1 setting which almost levels the truck.  It's pretty hard to tell because the sight lines on the truck are a bit misleading.  The difference is noticeable however, and the truck sits up like a level normally provides.

So here are my original measurements before and after the GM 2" kit.  so it went from 37.5" to 41.25"  so overall I'd say about 3" maybe a touch more after adding the new shocks.
