$3.45 is now $3.69, paid $3.57 down the street from them. Hi-way is $3.60s,

Mobil on the hi-way went up a dime this afternoon, now $3.79, surrounding stations no change yet still $3.60s, Lowest price local still $3.87 and up

Gas on the hi-way followed Mobil's lead and went up a dime to $3.79, Sunoco was still $3.69 though. The truck stop went up twice today, first a dime then a nickel. Diesel $5.35 at Sunoco but $5.79 next door at Gulf

We drove about 15 minute east today to visit a friend and saw a steep increase in price in the same county. About 50 cents a gallon steepper.

Mobil up another dime this am , $3.89, others will probably go up later. Any ideas on the reason for the increase other than greed? I've been working 14 hour days and haven't caught the news in a few days.

Why is gas up? Same reason the deficit is now $40 Trillion.
