1.5 front with factory rear. 33/12.50/22. I am thinking I want to paint the fender trim. It hasn’t bothered me much until lately and I am thinking it’s time to get rid of the textured plastic. Next to my old truck at work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro2 points

Installed Roadmaster Active Suspension. I stupidly did not measure bed height before install but it definitely raised the bed an inch or two (I went with the 2mm black spacer setup). Opinion so far is acceleration is smoother (reduced axle wrap?) and body roll has been drastically reduced. I have not had a chance to tow/haul yet so no comment on that outside of the bed not squating as much when my fat ass climbs into it. Overall it's definitely more fun to drive. It will be even more fun in a few months when it gets warm enough to switch back to e85.2 points

New to the site. Just upgraded from a 2014 Silverado LT to a 2020 Sierra SLT. Truck has been leveled and factory AT4 wheels/tires added to replace the stock SLT's. 1 day in and digging it thus far! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro2 points

Should have started this when I bought this truck new a year ago. 2018 Silverado LT Crew cab 6'6" bed 5.3 6spd 3.42 4x4 Its an LT plus so it has almost everything you could get on an All-star LT. No center console, no sunroof, nav. Good enough. First thing I did was Katzkins. Next was Access Tonneau cover and some Go Rhino Stainless steel steps and Bed Rails. Luverne Stainless steel mudflaps. Bed rug bed liner. AVS Aerosheild deflector. Frame plugs. Then I swapped out the reverse lights, license plate lights, and the cargo lights to LED's. Swapped the antenna for a shorter one. Lloyd's carpet mats. Next up I put a Borla S type catback exhaust duals out the back with Stainless steel tips. Of course then I added the Range AFM disabler. Then I had it ceramic coated. After driving it like this for the best part of a year it's time for some changes.... Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

Okay, after 11 months of agonizing mishaps, set backs and over all triumph, I figured it was time to immortalize my truck in a new post. Please welcome my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 7.0 (427) Turbo Build! I need to get the final tune with the new block. Still runs very well on the old 6.2 tune however, going up to 7.0 adds a layer of goofy on vacuum or under boost.. Next steps Get the PATC Stage 4 transmission kit stuffed into my 6L80E and retune to 900+ whp! Hoping to have that underway around March! Let me know what you all think. Ask any question. I'm open to where I purchased parts, cost of build etc. especially my opinion getting into a build like this.1 point

Looked like dried coffee or something ? I had to do the same as far as taking the jumper seat apart to remove the usb switch, forgot I had to do that.1 point
-
For sure! Like I said, that dang USB port swap was a bit tricky for my setup...I had watched videos of swapping everything, so the cluster, HMI and radio were a breeze, but the two videos I found regarding the USB port failed to mention anything about a zip-tie/anchor that needed to be removed -- this prohibited me from simply popping it out (to disconnect the cables). In the end, I dismantled the cup holder cover to discover said anchor...along with dried up brown, crusty shi...err, stuff underneath. So I decided to give that a good cleaning in the process. Yep, that little detour added 30-40mins to my adventure. LOL. So glad I did this and did it this way...thanks to everyone on this thread, especially Harness Dr and WAMS, I saved myself a great deal of time and aggravation.1 point

I did an install vid for these on here a few months ago. (somewhere in this thread I think) I can send you a link if you’re interested. I love these, this is the 2nd truck I’ve put them on, and will now always install them. (Unless I get a Ram, haha but I do not plan to be doing that again.[emoji1787][emoji1787]) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Very nice. I really like the color matched fender trim, to me that makes a big difference in the looks of the truck.1 point
-
I like them very much. The ride is good and the road noise is negligible. I had the Open Country R/T on my last truck and I think these ride and drive much better. The Terra is a great tire, as well. I just liked the more aggressive look of the Ridge better. I'm also an avid bow hunter, so i get off the beaten path from time to time and wanted the added traction with this tread pattern. I'll put some chrome wheels on this Spring and know the aggressive tire with chrome will look pretty good. Good luck with your choice.1 point

Ryan, better doesn't mean the reliability is the same. Only time will tell. Better means the ten speed transmission performs better than the six speed.1 point
-
? Rough Country just told me the same thing. ? So after going back and forth yes and no I have decided to wait for the full kit to come out. I didn’t buy a Denali to mess up the ride over wheels. I still want to get the Amp auto steps as the stock steps are pointless. I need to research to make sure they drop lower than the stock steps. Does anyone know?1 point

I just got my rear camera harness today from @pgamboa. This will let me check out the rear camera while in drive. I just realized the GPS shows up on my speedo too after installing the I06 HMI and radio module from @GTPprix. It just keeps getting better and better. Lol! For those of you who have bought harnesses from Phil, have you wrote a review over on http://harnessdr.com? I got the DIY DL3 kit a while ago before the website was up and going. I can't imagine the number of guys here that have been helped by Phil. ?1 point

C'mon guy, we are not your parents. Pull up your ****ing pants and do some leg work on your own. Just google this stuff because I take you've never modded a vehicle before. There are hundreds of vendors out there for buying stuff. You just need to know exactly what you want and your budget. If you wanna blow $10,000 like it's going outta style, call up summit racing or something because they will gladly sell you anything you want even if it will make the vehicle worse off.1 point

The pieces are starting to fall into place. Fed ex showed up with my tires/wheels. Packaged up real nice on a pallet. The lift gate came in handy . These bastards weigh a ton. I just saw my gas gas go down while it's parked[emoji857]. So far two thumbs up for Custom Offsets. Tires are fresh. Made in the 43rd week this year. (end of October) I'm really impressed with the wheels too. Nice 3" lip. Not bad for a 20x10. Nice chrome. Look to be easy to maintain. It sucks buying something from a picture on your phone hoping you get what you are hoping for. I wasn't disappointed. I'm going to drop them off at my Ceramic Coating guy later this week and get the wheels done. I never thought I'd drop $3500 just on tires and wheels [emoji848][emoji24][emoji24] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

Seems like the best fix if leak in would be to replace the sliding back glass with a solid glass window. I wouldn’t mind losing my slider to have a dry truck1 point

Big changes. Dec 19th I ordered a lift kit and tires/wheels from Custom Offsets. McGaughys 7"-9" set to 9" with the add a leafs for the rear. 37"x12.50x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Scorpion SC 29 wheels 20x10 -19 offset. The wheels are new this year none on the Custom Offsets gallery. Or anywhere on Google. The tires and wheels are coming Dec 30th. And the lift is supposed to be here later in the week. I scheduled the install at 4 Wheel Parts for March 2. I'm not in too big a hurry it's the dead of winter here in Minnesota. I'll put up some pics of the goods as soon as they arrive [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk1 point

Glad to hear it won’t affect the safety system. I didn’t think it would, but better to check first. I’m curious too about a work around for adding the lighted visors. Maybe I should make a new thread for that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Looks great but you had to cut with OEM 22” wheels and 285/55R22’s? I’ve got the 3” kit and same tire and wheel set up and I have very little rub, only under certain situations it rubs, not enough to even trim. Something sounds odd.1 point

Well, things have been happening. First off, Tire Rack didn't have the wheels I ordered, and I never got around to getting a new set, as I got distracted by this other thing. So... the other thing -1 point

After last weeks fiasco here in the Pasadena TX area with the ITC plant fire, I had black particles all over my truck, my wife's "white" car and my son's truck. So I gave my truck and wife's car a good wash and wax, very much needed. My son likes to wash his own truck, that's my boy. But with all this damn pollen floating around, it's hard to keep it looking good, you turn around for 5 minutes and your truck is yellow.1 point

Very well stated. I've had people say, "This is too dang loud! How can you stand it?!" And Others say, "I thought you were going to put exhaust on this thing, I can't even hear it!"1 point
