Search 6oz bags ebay

I found em. Definitely the way I'll go for my next set of tires. They'll save some money in the original mounting, and not needing to rebalance will be great. For the price I'm tempted to pull all the sticky weights off my rims and try them for the final 10,000 miles in these tires.

Yeah they're there. I was just trying to be lazy and find a nice kit that has the install thingie, valve stems, and the beads all in one. Maybe I'll browse some more when I get to the airport in a couple hours. Was also trying to stick with the Counteract brand but I guess the other 4 or 5 brands shouldn't suck either.

- New Trico flex windshield wiper for the driver's side and topped off RainX fluid. I've been using that wiper brand on the passenger side and it's probably the best I've ever used, although I have never used Bosch Icons. This brand also looks way better than traditional low end wipers.

- Topped off the oil with STP oil treatment instead of just oil. I haven't done that in a while but I figured why not especially during hard summer months.

-Washed her and vacuumed. She looks great but I'm a little biased!

Icons are really good. I've had the same set on my truck for over 3 years now. Granted, the truck is garaged and lives in the Northeast, so UV exposure is minimal - YMMV. They seem to hold up & work better than anything I've ever used in the past. I had been using Trico ever since I started driving. Good wipers, but they don't last nearly as long as the Icons do.

I use Tricos only on our Grand Marquis, since they're the only ones that don't drag on the hood when they park. They're sized perfect for that vehicle.

Surprisingly I only heard of Trico recently when they showed up at Wal-Mart.

Well today is my birthday, which I've been trying hard to forgot but have given up.

Today I treated myself to installing some new LED taillights, picked up the truck from the Line-X dealer (they did a re-surface on the bed of the truck, the original owner worked in the oil fields and had all kinds of scrapes and stuff in the bed from his heavy equipment) I also installed new LED back-up bulbs, and LED license plate bulbs.

I also took apart my old computer desk and am getting it ready to use as firewood.

Lastly the parts for a church owned Ariens ST1032 blower arrived from Ariens, new friction disc and some hardware for the scraper blade. Also received the new scraper bar for another church owned John Deere 524, so now just waiting on one of the skid shoes to arrive (the other is practically new) and then I can bolt all that stuff on and get her off to her building. Oh yeah. Need to pick up a new Champion spark plug for her as well.

So yes I have been busy today! I also need to look for a new job soon.

Yay! The POS Tundra I had sold today! I couldn't be happier to see that sorry sack of a truck leave!

Just MO, but I'd find a body shop before I let any dealer paint anything ... unless you don't care how it looks.

Dealers don't do as good a work as a body shop?

I found one in town that has good reviews...thinking I'll go there. Should I take it apart or remove any components before handing it over to them, or will they know what to do?

In truck news, ordered some black window trim to swap for the chrome trim on there. The chrome window sweeps just look like too much chrome. We'll see once they get here.

Haha! It looks amazing in person though. The chrome wheels really set it off along with the tires.

Is there anything special about his truck? Forced induction or anything?
