15green, going from a stock tire( assuming you had a 31 inch to start) to a 34 inch.. Is there a noticeable difference in power loss? Meaning effectively running a 3.12 now vs 3.42? with stock tires

My stock tire was 265/70/17. So I went from about 31.5 to 34.5. I have 3.08 gears. The only difference I have noticed is during take off. Its a little slower off the line, but I'm pretty light on the accelerator anyway. My stock gas mileage was about 21 mpg and now I'm getting 18 mpg.

Got the zone 6.5 on my 16 Sierra and it rides really rough. Going over dirt road with potholes and bumps I find it hops a lot and sounds like the front end is falling apart lol. What would the best way to get a better ride be? Bilsteins up front or perhaps the BDS strut? I know it's a lifted truck so it's gonna be a bit rough I just wanna get it a bit smoother. Thanks

Ordered the 6" BDS lift and 35" toyo RT's this past week. Just wanted to thank everyone for the loads of great information I have been reading off the boards here the past several weeks as I researched for my truck. Special thanks to all the guys who replied to PMs. I will post pictures back on the forums once complete!

Where did you order your lift from and how much was it?

I ordered it from Go Big Truck Performance in Ventura, CA. Privately owned shop that is on BDS' lists of go to vendors. They sold me the 6" lift for $1900 (no fox shocks at this time... debated but decided to hold out and see how I like the performance first). Toyo R/T 35x12.50x20 tires were $380 each. Install & alignment = $700. Totaled up to just under $4400 with tax. I elected to hold off on re-gearing my truck for now. I have the 5.3L with 3.42. If I re-gear, then I was quoted at $2k for that.

I have 305/55/20 -12 offset on my 14 Silverado with a 4" SST lift, rubs the backside of the inner fender at full turn in reverse... I'm in the middle of pricing out a 7" lift to improve the ride, and run 35's

The shop owner has a few trucks ahead of mine. Hoping to get mine in end of this week or next for the install. I will definitely post pictures. Looking forward to seeing pics of how this stup looks on your Chevy! I originally wanted the Silverado; I went from an 09 Subsrban LTZ to this truck. My brother got the Chevy in white so I went GMC in black. Both designs look great. GM really nailed the design on these trucks!
