If your planning on towing then prob best to add an extra leaf. If you simply want a bigger rake then the 2" block should do it.

I have the 2" block and the hellwig 987 and I have 2 inches of rake.

The Hellwig's are progressive so in theory they do nothing until there is loads bearing on them. Between that, the good reviews I found online and the price point - you can't beat it.

 

That being said, I've had them on there for only two weeks so idk how they function while towing yet. And although they aren't supposed to change anything until load bearing - I have the adjustment ends on as loose as I'm comfortable with and it did stiffin the ride a tiny bit (but I actually prefer the way it rides now).

I just purchased a 2017 Sierra 1500 4x4 SLT and requested the dealership to install a leveling kit. They chose the Ready Lift 2.25". My tires rub the upper control arm when at full lock. I am running factory tires and wheels.

They lifted the wrong way maybe?

I like the Summit Performance one. I buy them off ebay. They are aluminum and powder coated black. Comes with the bolt kit and all. I had made a video for my youtube channel on how to install it.

Anyone help me out on tire size?

 

2016 GMC Sierra SLT

Stamped Steel Control Arms

Factory 20x9 Wheels - (23220752)

 

Installed 2.5" Rough Country Lift this weekend, with rear blocks.

 

I've read through all posts and nothing is clear, tire rubs on one truck but not the other.

 

I am looking to run Nitto Trail Grappler's 33x12.5x20 (32.76x12.52) or a Nitto Trail Grappler 295x55x20 (32.91x12.52).

 

Will either of these fit without rub, if rub, how much trimming.

 

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I'm running 305/55/r20 which is the same and no trimming rub a little at full lock turn up or down a driveway that's it and very little

Looking to run a 2" level kit and 305 50 20's on my stock wheels with 2" wheel spacers on my 2016 Silverado. Think I'll have any rubbing or any issues

I have 305/55/r20 on stock wheels no problem with a leveling kit I don't know about the spacers
