Took me a little bit to get used to seeing them on the truck.  I honestly like the look of the truck without any boards better, but I was worried about destroying my seats without them.  I like them, but there are a few fitment things that could be better.  I am having trouble getting them perfectly level.  I'm a little anal about that stuff so it catches my eye when one of the gaps are off or the board doesn't sit flat on the mounts.  There is enough adjustment in the mounts that I think I can shim them with some washers to get them perfect, I just haven't had time to mess with them yet.    They are rock solid though and look like they will hold up better than the nerf bars that were originally on the truck.

Thank You For the info.

I just redid all my emblems. I pulled them off and painted them myself. Looks totally factory!

For all wondering, on the 2017-2018 2500 HD's, you can fit your hand down through the top with the hood latch is to get to the emblem. You DO NOT have to take off the radiator shroud. You can feel the tabs from the backside and pop out the emblem. Also, the gold portion is held in by plastic tabs that are press fit from the back to hold them in place. All you do it get a Super thin paint scraper, heat up the gold portion, and slide the paint scraper between the gold and chrome and cut the tabs. Sand smooth and re apply with 3m double faced tape. Painted with Caliper paint...

Cost was about $20...

First brand new truck

Congratulations on you new truck.  My 2018 is my first brand new vehicle as well.  I thought I'd always buy used, but the financing options offered made a new truck work best for me at the time of purchase.

Just picked up a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali.  Love this truck. I need to get a lift or level.  I am also thinking about replacing the Denali grill with an SLT grill.  I photoshopped what I think it will look like - comments?

Here is a current picture of it - all stock

Here is the photoshopped version. I have picked up an SLT grill, I need to get the chrome surround painted black, pick up some red tow hooks and then Plasti-dip the chrome area under the grill.  Let me know, or should I keep the Denali grill?

110% keep the Denali grill, do NOT paint the tow hooks red, and look into a BDS lift

Nice truck 18 Elevation.

Kurt, I really like your grille photoshop. I think it looks great. I would not do the red tow hooks though.

Nice blade KJS.

Look at getting a CST Lift Kit, highest quality you can have installed. All the other lifts make your track wider. CST, keeping your stock wheels too.
