Just a quick update that the package for the new screens was lost in the mail. I should receive another in a week or two. For those who would like samples, please email me jeffw at techarmor dot com and make the subject "Chevy MyLink Screen Protector".

I can tell you that I have now had one on my screen that I cut out of one of our iPad screen protectors and I am loving it! The anti-fingerprint coating works really, really well. It's not perfect, but much better than the screen by itself. The touch sensitivity and pressure sensitivity have not been affected at all that I can tell.

I wanted to provide everyone with a quick update on this since it has taken longer than I had hoped. I expect to have inventory of the screens in about 2-4 weeks. The email response that I received has been overwhelming so here is what I would like to do. We are coming out with two models, and HD Clear and and Antiglare. I will email everyone separately, but what I would like to do is have you all buy one or the other on Amazon, leave a review and send me your order number. I will refund you for the purchase and ship you the screen protector that you did not purchase free of charge. So, if you buy HD Clear and leave a review, I will refund your purchase and send you a pack of Antiglare for free. Everything is going to be sold in 3-packs for around $10.

The Amazon reviews will really help my small company and in the end you guys will get to try out both for a little effort and no cost.

I have been rocking the HD Clear on my screen for a while now and here is a comparison after about a weeks use with and without.

As always, feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]

Jeff,

That sounds like a great idea for getting the screen protectors out there. Let us know when they are available at the amazon store and I will purchase on the first day.

Thanks,

Ryan

Jeff from Tech Armor was great to work with. My main issue with the Intellilink screen was that it is way too bright at night, even in the night mode. I can't believe GM does not have dimming capabilities for the NAV screen that doesn't affect the main dash cluster. Anyway....Jeff from Tech Armor suggested I try a privacy screen protector to see if that works. Yes it does, it helps a great deal. He sent me one for an IPad Air and I cut it to fit. It is a high quality product with awesome customer support. Check out his website at http://www.techarmor.com

Privacy screen protector. Wonderful idea because it is bright for my eyes at night. Does it obstruct the view of the screen tho, in my experience privacy protectors are only good when looking head on, any slight change in angle and you can't see the screen.

Sent from my Nexus 5

Works perfect! Can see everything. If you have sunglasses on during the day, it's a bit difficult, but soooo much better at night. Major failure by GM on that one!!
