So I'm thinking that I should have a screen protector on the touch screen and am not finding anyone making one that I can just order. I did find one company (Clarivue) that will make custom sizes but it will run $50.00.

Anyone have luck finding a premade protector?
If you know of a tablet or other device that works or could be trimmed to fit please post a link.

Curious why you want or think you need one?

Since I put a screen protector on a phone that I'm only going to use two years at most, I figure I should protect this touch screen also

Never dawned on me to get one. Maybe I'll have to look for one.

I've had vehicles with touch screens since 2002 and my longest being for 9 years (Acura TSX) and have never had any scratches (did notice two or three shiny spots after YEARS of touching the same locations but barely noticeable) so this doesn't seem like something I would ever purchase.

yea i dont feel the need for that screen. its not like im throwing things at, or poking it with nails. Different than a phone that goes in and out of pockets with coins and keys.

And I have a hunch adding a screen protector will reduce the sensitivity of the screen pretty significantly. Since its not capacitive like ipads and iphones, but more pressure based.

I feel the same as post 8 and 9. Never even thought about a screen saver and I'm still not!

I used the screen protector that came from the factory, I just cut it to fit better.

I don't see the "I have no need for it" option on the poll. I have not plans of putting a display in my pocket with my keys, change, pistol, nor do I see myself sliding it across a table or dropping it in a paring lot. I am sure the display will be just fine with no protection

Nothing should ever touch the screen but your fingers. It can't be dropped like a phone or tablet. I'm not seeing the need for one either.

I don't have one on my phone and I can't drop the my link screen. Mine did come with a little cloth to clean it off.
