Did you remove the entire air dam or just the bottom ~1 1/2" piece? I know you said lower valance just wasn't sure exactly how much you took off. I like the idea and location

Over the weekend, I drove up to the Big Bear area and home again, out on Friday and home on Sunday.  Cleaned out the truck to make room for a couple that went with us.  Only had a small bit of traffic when I was going from I-215 SB to SR-210 EB, on the loop.  Way home was smooth all the way home.  Now to wash/vacuum the truck one these mornings.

Orange peel is one thing, this is totally different. It sure didn't look like this when I took it to them. There is an acceptable orange peel gage that every auto maker uses.

When you look at the reflection of an object in the paint and it has the effect of looking rippled like an orange peel 361e85dc1ff582b653f0fc6f289b839f.jpg

300 + mile round trip to Peoria Illinois to pick up a few cases of Red Line Oil D6 trans fluid and a Genesis shock gauge from Hoerr Racing. Peppers upcoming 50K service. There's a $400 dollar day.

Curious as to how this wires in. Did you have to cut factory wires?

Opt7 has a y splitter that plugs into the 4way on trailer

Used this harness:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009FJ38Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No splicing of factory wiring at all, just spliced into this harness. The 7 pin connector has the reverse wire necessary to turn on the white backup light.

No splicing at all if you don't care about the reverse light, just plug into the 4 pin for brakes and turn signal.

In the future returning to stock is just unplugging the harness and plugging factory plug back in. Also this allowed me to hide all wiring behind the bumper and still have use of factory trailer connections.

My JL console stealthbox arrived today. I need to pick up an amp wiring kit and will try and knock out the install on my next days off.
