I mean you don’t have to do everything I did..... you can just do the whipple kit. You won’t be making allll the power but more than stock. I did a bunch of other things so I can make more power

I’m only 2wd. Wish it was a 4wd, SMH. Crew cab standard bed. 6 speed 3.42 gear. Nitto NT420S 285/50/20. 1st is useless, it’ll spin the first half of 2nd and hooks at about 40 something. Truck weights in at 6100lbs with full tank of gas and me in it.

That just seems really heavy for a 2WD Truck.

My 4WD crew cab with like half tank without me in it is 5,500lbs. Add me and all my stuff it's only another 200lbs total. Even if I added a blower and other stuff I'd still be under 5,900lbs full weight with 4WD.

I was thinking the same thing, my CC short bed 5.3 is for sure 5300lbs. Had to have it weighed to get the title. Still have the slip even lol

I’m crew cab standard bed. I carry tools with me to work everyday. Also have a box in the back with straps. Wheels and tires are 89lbs each corner I believe. That’s all I can think of. But I do have scale at work. And I weight it in last week. 6080lbs I believe it was. 6100lbs to make it easy with like 15/16 tank of gas.... I’ll take a picture of it next time I have a full tank of gas and actually remember to get on the scale.

Did the DL8 to DL3 swap.  Got the passenger side done yesterday and the driver side tonight.  Used pgamboa's DIY kit and everything worked great.  Not to bad for $100 used mirrors, $65 for the DIY kit, $70 for the mirror control switch and about 5 hours of my time.  All because I wanted to get the puddle light with the Chevy logo, which I have yet to buy for about another $100.  Oh well, its only money.

My RCSB tips the scale around 4800. Dog and I put it over 5K on the grain scales.

To much good food, eh?

I’d also look at the CST 4.5” lift, super high quality and yes I OffRoad a lot with zero issues. You can use your favorite shocks too, mine are CST coil overs up front, CST piggyback in rear which if you OffRoad frequent I’d highly recommend adjustable front coil overs. Rears are good with just about any, heck, you can even use Bilstein shocks too, they give a lifetime warranty.
Back to the lift, they’re all pretty good just as long as they don’t widen your track with or turning radius which BDS and other will do unless specified. I’ve had my CST 4.5” for almost 3 years and absolutely LOVE it with Zero complaints.

what size wheels & tires are you running?

Everyone’s lift varies, I’m running 33.5” KO2’s on 29x9 plus 1 wheels. The CST allows you to keep your stock wheels and tires.
