I love the look of these. But they also look like a shin laceration for us graceful peeps. [emoji37][emoji37][emoji37][emoji37]

is that 3rd one handy back by the bed? I’ve always liked the idea of that.

yes I wanted to be able to reach in the bed from the side, I am kind of tall so I put these on mostly for the wife and kids, little easier getting in but getting out I have to get used to just sliding out, too short for me for a step-out

Finally got around to adding footwell lighting. I used these little LED license plate lights from Amazon and after trying numerous locations under the dash/kick panels etc I found they actually worked great under the seats (I’m going to add a couple more facing rearward in my regular cab).

Replaced the battery. Went with a Duracell since they seem to have good reviews. They’re made by East Penn Battery which also makes Deka. Truck’s been cranking slower lately and this morning, it barely started. Original battery was dated 4/2015 so I guess it was due. My ‘08 Silverado spoiled me because it still had the original battery when I traded it off in 2016.

Welp, biggest service yet for the truck today since I've owned it; 95,000+ miles. Gonna bite the bullet and get it all fixed! Started out with just the water pump/belt a couple weeks ago, now I just discovered that I have the infamous radiator crack and the cooler lines are leaking. Unfortunately, I don't think the TSB is going to cover this now (being 2020) but gonna bring it up just in case.

Also going to be getting a tune up/having the spark plugs and wires changed. I'm hoping that after all this work is over and done with the truck will run like new again. ?

Little lighting upgrade. A lot easier to see when b/u  with 20% tint on side windows. Also illuminates b/u camera much better
