Looked all over for that color, and could never find one exactly like I wanted.  I pass em all the time now, and the Chevy version, and am so jealous every friggin time!  Looks great!

Thanks man! I wasn’t a huge fan when I first bought it but I didn’t want white or black. It’s def grown on me since day one and I wouldn’t trade it. The coolest part is I can not wash it for weeks and from 5+ weeks away it still looks clean. I’m sad they got rid of it after 2016 but I think the new version of it is satin steel metallic on the 2019. Thank you for the compliment! Leaving everything on the outside alone since converting the front end. Next up will be new shocks and struts lol

Yeah I know they have to be broken in.  Everybody's procedure is different though.  This is what they recommend

After driving the first 15-20 miles at around 60 mph, it is best to stop and let the differential cool completely – usually about 1hr.  You will do this 5 times for the first 100 miles of the breakin procedure. Maintaining a speed below 65 mph and driving conservatively for the first 500 miles is also advised. The gear oil should be changed after 500 miles. We recommend that you drive at least 500 miles before any heavy use or towing. During the first 45 miles of actual towing, only drive 10-15 miles at a time before stopping to let the differential cool.

I’m guessing you went Yukon based on break in? I love my Yukon gears. They stank for a bit tho when you heat me up good but once broken in-OMG.

I didn’t go as big tho; 4.10 for me.

Yeah I went Yukon gears. They’re the only ones that make a 4.56 for both front/rear differentials for these late model trucks.

I love my Yukon’s. Got them from East Coast Gear.

Fixing to take girl on run to Orlando shortly. I love lift with 4.10–she just rides amazing.

Eager to hear how your 4.56 come out bud!

Nice. I love mine. But I need to take them back off to raise the front a little more. I installed them how they came and it’s higher for sure, but still has a very noticeable rake.

Picked my truck up with the 4.56’s. Holy crap what a difference. The truck moves absolutely effortlessly. It’s a very odd feeling but I love it. For some reason they couldn’t get the gear ratio changed on my tuner so my speedo is way outta whack. Every time they would go to punch in 4.56 the tuner would freeze up. I noticed when I went to start my truck up to leave the shop a low battery warning popped up on the dash.  I suspect that is the problem. I know these tuners get all wonky when you got a low voltage from the battery. It’s on the tender now and I’ll get the ratio dialed in in the morning.  They scanned the abs code and as I suspected I got a wheel speed sensor out. I guess I’ll be replacing that soon. Should take care of my service stabilitrac error. All in all a good day

In tune there are a few locations you can adjust as it may throw a few things off. There is also a final size of the tire so the speed is correct. But sounds like they know what they are doing.
