Biggest thing to note here guys is that for 2017 GM REMOVED the ability to play Video from USB from ALL vehicles. They also removed the native Pandora app which apparently a lot of you used. This programming in addition to all of the other features above ADDS those features back in!

Did they, I purchased a new 2016 Silverado a month go, was able to load videos and movies to a 128gb flash drive, videos played perfectly, in saying that, my buddy can't get his 2017 to play videos, we though something was wrong, maybe not.

Is there an option to play videos on a 2016 via USB that doesn't have a DVD or RSE system? It is this a custom HMI solution from MVI?

By Bricked do you me Vin Locked ? You'll also need more than just the HMI if trying to go into a 2015 vehicle. Regardless...we can help.

No when I say bricked it won't even program I sent it off to a person who can unlock the vin but he said it was a brick and couldn't be fixed

Well if it's truly bricked...likely its done. This does rely on whomever is doing it to actually know what they are doing and the 2.5 stuff is completely different. Like I mentioned earlier, it does require other hardware besides just the HMI to make the 2.5 work for CP-AA.

We have the factory overhead screen complete now. Goes perfect with the DVD / Bluray upgrade we offer with the unlock. This now allows us to offer the complete system, fully unlocked for all those who prefer complete factory. This is the public version...gives the general overview of the install. We have the full length version done as well...it's 45 min long so it is very detailed.

I just recently bought a 8" screen with all the modules nav and wifi from a 2017 Silverado LTZ I'm wondering if it would work on my 2014 Sierra SLE with IO4 and if it's possible to change the chevy start up logo to the gmc intelli link logo?
