I've got a 2015 Chevy 1500 crew cab ltz 5.3l I just got a couple months ago. Looking at installing the RC 2.5" level then for rubber putting on 295/55r20 either nitto trail grapps or terra grapps. Wheels are going to be fuel maverick 20x9. Still haven't decided if I want +20 or +1 offset..anybody know how far the +1 offset would stick out? I have mud guards on front and back I just don't want to chip paint.

I have 275 tires with +18mm offset and weathertech mudgaurds, the bubble of the sidewall is out past the mudguards, but the actual tread is barely inside. With the +20mm offset and 295 tires you would be 8mm further out than me. With the +1 offset you would be 27mm further out than me. If you are worried about paint chips, I would go with the +20

Thanks a bunch! I kind of figured I would end up getting +20 offset but wanted to see if someone had any input.

Wow, your truck is gorgeous... would you mind posting what you used for this wheel tire setup (size, backspace, etc.)? Also your drop info too. Thanks!

i'll have to get back to you on the backspacing. as for the rest of the info, it's a 4/7 mcgaughys drop with 1" adjustable shackles to give me a 4/8

the front wheels are Intro Wheels 818s 22x8.5 with 265/40/22 Nitto NT420s tires (30.4" tall)

the rear wheels are Intro Wheels 818s 22x10.5 with 305/40/22 Nitto NT420s tires (31.6" tall)

since the rear tires are a little over 1" bigger than the fronts, the 1" drop evened out the wheel well gap better and brought the rake down.

For the wheels, i went with polished hoops and the centers are brushed with a clear powder coating.

I have +1s and like the way the truck sits. Puts the wheels out approx 1" wider on each side. I have 275/65/20s with a 2.5" rc kit and I rub a bit, so if you went with 295/55/20 you would rub bad and would be better off going with a +20 setup

I figured if I went with the 295/55/20 I would end up having to get the +20 offset. Here's a truck I found with the exact same set up I want but different tires: da80d42371639ebba7b0fdfff0ee2911.jpg

To anyone who has fuel rims, did they come with 4 black and 4 green rings? If so, what are they for?

I was wondering the same thing when I got my wheels. So I contacted the place i got the from and they said they are hub rings. But since our trucks are lug centric we dont need them.
