Mind posting up a few more, or PM me? I'm on the fence about going back to chrome wheels, I would like to see a few more photos of them on a black truck, and those are one of the wheels I've been looking at.

what color is this truck? never seen one.

It's slate grey metallic, the second pic is more accurate of the actual color.

Stupid question. But why would you change gears if you got newer bigger tires? Also do you go down in gear ratio or up?

My guess would be that he seems concerned about loss of low-end torque due to taller tires.

Some do it for towing others for fuel economy reasons, lower gear ratios help move the engine higher in the rpm band increasing the torque available. The change in tire height affects the actual rpm but the heavier tires also require more torque to get moving. I had a truck with 36" tires and gained 2 mpg going from 3.73 to 4.56 gears

Changing the tire size changes the actual final gear ratio. Taller tires you will want to get lower gears (higher #). If you only go an inch or 2 taller it's not a big deal, but once you start to go above 35s, especially with a higher gear you need to think about regearing. There tables on the internet that will show you what gear ratio to go to according to tire size that will give you the same performance as your stock gear with stock tires. If you have 3.42 gears and go bigger tires the truck will act like it has higher gears like 3.08s (not sure what tire size, but just an example). So you get lower gears to put the truck back to stock performance or can go even lower.

Terra Grapplers on LTZ wheels with stock LS centercaps...

Can you take some more pics of your wheels and center caps? And some side shots with them too? That's an interesting setup.
