Leveling Kit for 2015 Sierra Denali Magnetic Ride

Recommended Posts

I lifted the front of my 2015 Sierra 1500 Denali with magnetic ride with a 1.5 inch lower strut spacer. It did stiffen the ride quite a bit. I took it to my local GMC dealer for alignment and he informed me that if you alter the ride height on a magnetic ride suspension you will need to perform a "Trim Height Relearn" calibration on the magnetic shocks. He performed the "Relearn" on my vehicle and it restored the factory ride with the 1.5 lift.

I restored factory ride to my 1.5 inch lifted 2015 GMC Sierra Denali by taking it to my local GMC dealer who performed a "Trim Level Relearn" calibration on the magnetic shocks. Only took a few minutes and cost approximately $45. Rides as when I first drove it off dealers lot.

Why 2.5", if you just want to level the truck? I do not believe this truck has that much rake. Or does it?

I have a Denali on order and was planning to lift the front an inch, maybe 1.5". That was before I read this thread, finding out there is no kit available.

I lifted my 2015 Sierra 1500 Denali with a 1.5 inch spacer under the struts. The ride became noticeably stiffer so I called my local GMC dealer and he told me to bring it in and they would perform a "Trim Height Relearn" calibration on the magnetic shocks. They did it with their computer (no mechanical work). Ride is now restored to factory feel. Cost about $45.

Factory ride can be restored by taking truck to dealer and have him perform a "Trim Level Relearn" on the magnetic shocks. This is done via dealers computer with no mechanical adjustments required. I lifted my 2015 Sierra 1500 Denali by 1.5 inches and this procedure restored factory ride. Cost about $45.

All,

I have been following this post for quite some time to see how and what I can do to make my truck look a little better. I called a local truck accessory shop near Charlotte, NC whom I had contacted multiple times in the past to help me order and install the suspension max system for my 2015 Denalli. However, they had just designed their own system to level the Denalli trucks and fabricated bracket to adjust the magna ride suspension. They have been the local dealerships go-to shop for their vehicle accessories so I trusted that they knew what they were doing.

Long story short this is what I got installed. Readily 2" block kit for the rear (helps keep rake and tires from rubbing with heavy trailer loads) Procomp 2.25" leveling kit for front. Rigid Dually harness (not sure what that was for) And their fabricated bracket. All in all it cost me $828.64 installed not including the alignment.

Immediately after installing the kits I took it to my friends tire shop and put on a set of 205/55/r20 BFGOODRICH K2O's. Perfect fit...no trimming required..and the truck rides great! Honestly the truck rode just the same after the kit was installed, but after the tires were put on I can notice a tiny difference. (To be expected from a heavier more aggressive tire.

Rowells Inc. 704-821-6828 is the shop that installed the kit. You have to talk to the guy with the go-tee and the low grumbly voice...He's the one that knows what he's talking about.

FYI: This was exactly the look I was hoping for and I love it.

has anyone done the rear levelling kit ? 2" drop shackles. I have a 15 denali and want to do this but want to know what has to be done with the sensor arms

I actually did the 2" drop shackle first. Here it is with 26's and a 2" rear drop. And my current wheels with a 2" rear drop. I don't have a picture with factory wheels.

Both setups looked horrible IMO. The 26s didn't rub too bad, but my current wheels would rub pretty bad up front. I took the shackles off within 2 days. You can have them for $20 if you want them.

Just recently did my 2015 Sierra Denali with the suspension maxx kit. Had my dealer install kit, tires I brought, and aligned the front end for just over $500 parts and labor. Looks awesome and rides like a Denali should. Went with Nitto Terra grappler g2's in a 285/55/22 and fit is perfect. Only rub is at full lock and that is on the carpet.post-156226-0-28994400-1458882438_thumb.jpeg

I'm getting my truck leveled tomorrow with the suspension maxx adjustable kit. For those of you running the same kit, how much did you raise the front up? 2", 2.25", or 2.5"?
