That sounds like the "time out" issue talked about in other threads. When you come out of reverse, if you have the feature turned on in the menus, they should return to the memory saved position.

No, definitely was not timeout. To clarify:

1.) Put truck in reverse

2.) Mirrors tilt down

3.) Change drivers side mirror position

4.) Put truck in park

Neither mirror moves at this point. I had to set them to their original position again. I think its a software bug.

All of a sudden when I put my 15 LTZ in reverse the auto tilt goes up on the passenger side instead of down. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Correct, no way to change the position of the reverse tilt feature.

I thought that was the case on my 2018. Definitely can and did.

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. I replaced the driver side mirror because the power folding part stopped working. I have the reverse tilt on in vehicle, when I put it in reverse the driver side mirror tilts down and all the way to the left and you can still hear the motor until you push the switch. While still in reverse, I manually move mirror to desire location and take the truck out of reverse. The mirror does not go back to the last position it was in in normal driving mode. When manually adjusting it, I put back in reverse then mirror goes down and to the far left again. Thoughts .
