GMC: MORIMOTO XB LED FOGS

@Angel27, how'd you get only the parking lights to shine? My truck, even when in park still shows the LED strips when the parking lights are turned on.

He has a SLE.

Forgive me, I'm not aware of the differences. The assemblies look the same to me. Do the SLEs just not have the LED emitters in them and the SLTs do?

I'd love to have those LED strips switched so I could turn them on and off at will. ESPECIALLY those ugly upper eyebrow LEDs.

Popped my xb fogs in over the weekend. Big improvement over stock fog lamps (even with the VLEDS bulbs I had in them) these go out much further and wider!

+1 to gmtech's comments, the MM LED fogs are great. ^Looks like yours are aimed a bit high or do you like 'em that way?

My driveway there is on a uphill slope, the aim looks higher then it is. On level surface I think they are close to perfect.

Yep I have the SLE. As far as headlights the LED strips are the only difference. Have them in the SLT's and Denali's.

I have a 2015 Silverado LTZ, I have already upgraded the Headlights to the Morimoto 5500K HID kit.

Is there a LED bulb I can get to match the HID kit?

Sure. Search Fastheadlights online. They have these XB fogs for Silverados now.

Ordered the new Silverado version from FastHeadlights a couple weeks ago (haven't shipped yet). Trying to determine whether 35w 5500k or 6500k HID matches these fogs best. I've seen 2 different Answers online. Anyone wanna chime in?

Ordered the new Silverado version from FastHeadlights a couple weeks ago (haven't shipped yet). Trying to determine whether 35w 5500k or 6500k HID matches these fogs best. I've seen 2 different Answers online. Anyone wanna chime in?

Do you really have to remove the front bumper in order to replace the Fog lights on the 14-15 Silverado? IF so that may change whether or not I go this route

Apparently that is what you have to do. I'm damn sure gonna try to pull them out front before I take off the bumper. If taking off the bumper is what You have to do then it's BS. Though taking off the bumper isn't all that hard. Only reasons that I'm going to these fogs are: 1. I got a good deal from FastHeadlights. 2. I have HIDs currently and would prefer something with a cutoff. And 3. I'm having condensation issues in both of my stock housings.

It was easier to mount the fogs with the grill and front fascia off the truck (as I was doing the HID headlight conversion), but you certainly could install them by leaving the front end in place and accessing from beneath the bumper. Front ramps would make it even easier.
