Passenger Side Tow Mirror LED Directional Too Bright

Before anyone blasts me I searched through the forum and couldn't find anything. I'm sure there is something out there but I looked I swear!! Has anyone else found that their passenger side LED directional on their tow mirrors are too bright? The driver's side has a opaque diffuser over the LED's, but the passenger's side is completely clear. I spoke to the GM dealership who gave me service bulletin 15-08-70-001 which is titled "Driver Outside Wide Load Mirror Turn Signal Too Bright" Problem is they didn't do anything about the passenger's side!! I'm blinded at night when my right directional goes on, and my girlfriend complains that it is so bright when she's sitting in the seat. I called GM and put in a complaint, but they said they wouldn't do anything until they had a sufficient amount of complaints. My complaint ref. number is 8-1675295864. Maybe if more people are having this issue they can call and complain so that they make a piece of glass for the passenger's side with the diffuser as well!!!

They definitely need it. Mine is too bright also.

agreed. Even after tinting my windows, it's still really bright and can make you "blind" out the passenger window when making a right turn.

Put some tint right over the indicators. Use the darkest you can find if its truly that bad.

I will agree that I have noticed it is a little over the top bright on mine also.. Luckily I am not in the passenger seat...

So I have devised a solution to my passenger directional that was too bright. Unfortunately it cost me 100 bucks for a new side view mirror however it was well worth it. I will post the link to the how-to as soon as I write it this evening. Hope this helps!!
