2016 SLT with 6.2 or Z71but not both??

Just did an online build on GMC Canada's site and it looks like the Z71is only available with the 5.3? i really wanted a Z71 with the 6.2. Very disappointed …is this the same scenario in the USA?

 

Sorry, maybe you can after all . just tried different combinations and i think i have it figured out. Configurator seems more complicated than last years..or brain is rustier

No, you can get a 6.2L with the Z71. It might just be a glitch with the website.

You can't get a Max Tow and Z71 though

For whatever reason, GM.ca is still set up for design/build of 2015 trucks, even though only 2016's can be ordered.

I think something is wrong on the website. I can't seem to order the 6.2 with the All Terrain package. It's only been up and running for the 2016 Sierra for a few days now.

I can still only get gm.ca it to build a 2015.

I found out that the build site works much better with google chrome than with firefox. Using chrome allowed me to build out with options that firefox said was not available. Both builds were done within a couple of minutes, so nothing changed on the GM site.

It was the Canadian site (gm.ca) that was not working.

 

gm.com has had 2016 truck build/price working for a long time.

Gm canada says silvrrado lt2 (z71) can only have a 4.3.....sites flawed....as usual
