2014 5.3 - flexfuel was standard

2015 5.3 - flexfuel becomes optional ( $100 or something to add the fuel sensor and enable the programing to use it)

2016 5.3 w/6 speed - same as 2015, flexfuel is optional

2016 5.3 w/8 speed - flexfuel not available

Yeah, it is not functional, however I cant imagine how much it would do considering there is already a huge grille under it. I actually really like it as a styling improvement, as it further dramatizes the body lines on the hood. I also really like the contrast of color and tone against the body color, like the wheel arches and lower bumper. Gives it a more tactical look

The hole above and below the grill are going to be for the Duramax to keep it cool with the new big power 2017.
