Ordering From Laura GMC

Hey Guys,

I've heard many positive stories from people that bought trucks from Laura GMC, but wondered if anyone had experience placing a vehicle order with them? If so, I'd like to hear how it went. The price they quoted me for an order was good, but not as great as others I've seen on in stock vehicles.

MSRP (including $1,195 destination charge): $60,835

Laura quote: $53,521 (less active incentives upon arrival)

Any thoughts?

Only an average deal if there is 5k or more in rebates when the truck arrives to go on top of that price.

It doesn't seem far off from the ones in that price range on their website

MSRP $60,075

  • Price $51,590
  • Savings $8,485

that looks like a legit price to me. $7314 off just in dealer discount is pretty good. so to see $11,500 off total you only need $4186 in rebates. i think $2500-$4000 is pretty normal for rebates.

I'm actually only seeing $1,000 in rebates for a 2016 Sierra Denali right now. Please enlighten me if I'm missing others, as more would be very helpful. Thanks.

Denali vs sle or lt with chevy. Denail and high country do not always get the same rebates as lower trim levels.

Good news! Take the deal. Rebates will be higher when it comes in a few months down the line. Wheels are about to fall off the economy due to low oil prices. Railroads are already indicating fast falling shipping volume. Everyone know what comes next.

I appreciate the advice OJ, and I also foresee a downturn on the horizon, but do you really think things will tank that quickly? If I ordered now, it would probably arrive in early May. What does your crystal ball predict for that period? Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Earnings season is here. Profits are tanking and layoffs are adding up fast. $30 oil will have one heck of a trickle down effect. Comes down to whoever can survive the longest without energy money rolling in. Saudis or the USA...

The only problem with this is that with $30 barrel of oil brings even lower gas prices and that mean more sales of trucks, so they might hold off on the rebates until sales start to slow. Also GM just had one of it's most profitable quarters in history.

You mean truck sales like in 2008 & 2009? Profits are high as we are just hitting the after effects. Look at the current stock prices of Ford & GM during these record profits. The institutional investors are bailing. They know what is coming. Yes it can change but the ship is still sailing towards a strong down turn.

    • I found an odor eliminator spray that neutralizes unwanted smells pretty well. Using it with the car's AC running helps to distribute it evenly around the cabin.
    • WTI futures / speculation is just that. WTI futures <> current 4-7% inflation and national average gas price over $4.00/gallon.   The spot price, at delivery, is currently $87-$95/barrel which is why gas prices remain high.   Edit: oH mY gOd mEnTaL BrEaKdoWn In tHE pOsT aBOve mInE. • He does, actually. In another unrelated video he mentions the president called him in the middle of the night to relay some information on a cause (religious based) that he's invested in. Glenn expressed concern that another leftist administration could wield too much power with some procedure the Pentagon was using, classifying certain religions a certain way. Being that he is LDS (Latter Day Saints), he gets hate all the time from ALL over the political spectrum, so he's invested in this. Trump called him back at 5AM to tell him he had made some changes to that classification.   So, yes, they are and have been in contact regularly since the start of the administration. Glenn, of course, always asks his permission before discussing anything on the air.   I already spent an hour or more just searching for these videos. I may have my numbers wrong - I'm not a numbers guy. It may have been a MILLION barrels, not 1.5. The point is, our President, by his actions, gives a crap about America, and US - this is completely OPPOSITE the actions of the prior administration who projected hatred for anyone who wasn't following the left's edicts in lock-step.   Remember, they called January 6th an "Insurrection", when there were ZERO weapons among the crowd, undercover FBI agents agitating the crowd, along with paid leftists acting as aggressors, egging the crowd on in an attempt to whip everyone into a frenzy. It's all been proven.  Pelosi refused Trumps request for more National Guard troops. This smells 100% like an inside job for those with critical thinking skills. Only a handful of guys in the crowd got wrapped up in that, thankfully, but EVERYONE was searched out based on cell phone data, and charges were brought against many. And 6 or so people were locked up and left in solitary confinement for YEARS with ZERO due process!! If you give the slightest crap about our Nation, REGARDLESS of your political leanings, this should frighten you to your core. This is what men suffered, bled, fought, and died against 250 years ago!   This has gone FAR BEYOND left vs. right. This is a  threat to America, and our way of life. This is PRECISELY why Trump, a BILLIONAIRE who could have chosen to take Melania and sit on some tropical island that he could afford to buy himself and RELAX, instead chose to run for office, get hate from literally every corner of the media, get ATTEMPTS on his LIFE constantly, and begin to repair some of the severe damage that's been done to this Great Nation.   I don't know why I bother wasting my precious time here. Everyone has their minds made up. They won't realize we all were correct until it's too late ... after they elect another tyrant that hates America to office (Obama), or another puppet whose administration is secretly running the show behind the scenes (Biden).
    • Hello, Im in a bit of a bind maybe someone could help me out.  We towed our trailer, up a pretty steep incline (395 north of Bishop) done it before no issues. I got to our campground turn truck off, i restarted the truck about an hour later  and check engine light turns on. Found DTC P2C48,  unable to reset.  This morning i removed the plug, there's 12.12v at the plug. Reservoir near firewall is full of coolant, checked for leaks nothing. I dont hear or feel the pump turning on. My dilemma, is nearest dealer  is 4hrs away that has the pump instock. Is it safe to drive? By me checking the available voltage at the connector and not hearing/feeling pump turn on, is it a bad pump? Please help...
