flyingfool Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 my latest free upgrade was to delete the rear view mirror, its nice to see more out the window, my second best blind spot upgrade was removing passenger and rear seat head rests. try it, you'll like it!

I have been interested in doing this to mine for a long time. I just never have done it. I am currently at 113k miles. I plan on having the truck for a few more years. It can't hurt anything but give me peace of mind knowing I am doing something preventative.

I'm currently doing a 5000 mile filter test , will post up what i find. I purchased the "bypass valve" from Frantz filters Edited November 23, 2020 by flyingfool 1
KJS Sullivan Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Picked up a 10 pack of heavy duty, metal body LED's for $8. Tapped the dome light for interior. And for just under $50 I picked up the wiring harness for the bed lights and tapped it with some 8" COB LED's for the bed. Can you explain how you tapped into the dome light? This is a nice idea I've seen it done before but nobody ever really explains how they bring in the lines and hook it up. Thanks in advanceSent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk 2
