2015 Silverado 1500 High Country left rear indicator failure

I recently discovered when I put on my Left turn signal it will blink normal 3 times then go to the hyper flash and pop up on the dash as left rear indicator failure. I checked every fuse on the truck as well as replaced all the bulbs in the rear tail lights. The problem still exist. I also noticed that the left tail light is very dim compared to the right. When you tune the blinker on on the left the tail light will go out and only the reverse light will blink very dim . You can also see the blink in the right tail light faintly. The whole assembly will dim. I really do not want to take it to a dealer. Please help.

Ground or there is some corrosion issue in the taillight harness.

corrosion issue mine had the wiring harness replaced
