I swear the factory LED reverse lights are really powered by fireflies. So I fixed that issue yesterday. I made my own bracket out of aluminum and bolted it to the underside of the receiver through existing holes. I already know I'm going to change the bracket to make it into this shape '''''''''''''''''''''''''''\__/''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''. Then the lights will hang from the bracket. You'll never see the bracket because it will be behind the bumper, and its all completely removable. The only permanent mod is cutting the tip off the accessory firewall grommet behind the battery to run the wire inside for the switch. The bracket isn't painted yet because I was literally just mocking this up to see how it would work. I'll probably make the new bracket next weekend and get it painted black.

I used Rough Country 6 inch slim line lights. They put out 2880 lumens. I may swap them to the 10 inch slim line lights that put out 4800 lumens when I make the new bracket.

I've decided I can't cover all the chrome because there is just too much of it.  It's around or under ever button or dial on the truck.  So Instead of the AC vents, I am going to wrap the area around the radio and call it day (other than wrapping the back seat handle trim just like the front).

Thanks, fits a sanitizer bottle and a pack of cigarettes just perfectly.  Lol.  Keep my hands clean and my lungs dirty!  D'oh!

Bought a new toy. Will being using it first on our older Tahoe for practice. Not sure when I’ll need it for the truck though. Hand washing and spray on wax during drying process is plenty right now.

2020 LT Duramax chrome and badge delete with 3M matte black wrap.  Mirror covers, rear bumper, front bumper and grill piece.

Looks good man. Is that 3m wrap on the grille and bumpers, or am I reading that wrong? I'm debating on how I want to remove the chrome on mine as well.

Yes 3M 2080 matte black.  Removed front and rear bumpers as well as the mirror caps to get a good tuck of the wrap to prevent it pulling back.  Bumpers come off without too much effort.  All the plastic end pieces on the bumpers come off pretty easy once the bumpers are removed.  Mirror cap clips are super fragile and easy to break.

The tricky one is the center grill piece.  There are literally 40 small clips that hold the piece onto the main grill as well as reinforcing brackets.  Nothing too difficult just time consuming.

Also the center piece on the grill needs inlays.  The radius is too tight and wide to use one piece of wrap.  If you've never wrapped it sounds harder than it is and actually makes it much easier and cleaner once done.  Sorry for the long description without pictures but if you go onto Youtube there are videos on how to wrap and do inlays.  If you use knifeless tape its even easier to do the inlays.

The areas on either side of the bowtie are the places where the inlays go.
