I want to install the grill lights.  Did you follow a SOP for install or did you put one together?  Did you pull the grill completely of to install, seems like that may be unecessary with possible install from the top.

Read instructions watched YouTube  and yes you will need to pull the grill off it only takes about 2 hours

In the 4 months I have owned it, I have:

Installed Amp Research steps

Replaced floor mats with Chevy Front & Rear Floor Liners

Added an ARE Evolve shell.

Parts I have waiting to go on are:

Bilstein 6112 front leveling shocks

Bilstein 5160 rear shocks w/external reservoirs

Supreme Suspension rear 1" lift blocks

Black emblems from Chevrolet Accessories

The ARE shell looks real nice. Mind if I ask how much that cost?

Thanks, it was the exact look I was going for as well. I have a 1" rear block coming, but not totally sure if I will put it in or not. I need to do some more measuring. I'll put a jack under the rear hitch and raise it that inch and see what it looks like first. From one angle, the front is noticeably higher than the rear, but other angles it looks good.

It rides significantly better with the Bilstein 5100's, the difference was instantly noticeable. I believe I have the 4 ply tires? I went with the cheaper, lower load rating if that helps. I wanted 285/60/20, but that meant spending another $4-500 in just the difference from 275 to 285 and couldn't justify it. I saved the tire cost and put it into the Bilstein's.

Thanks. In your pictures it looks like it has that perfect little bit of rake. I know pictures can be deceiving. Sounds like you have the 4 ply grapplers. The price is a bonus but I’m looking at them for a tire that won’t ruin my ride like I’ve done before. Yours is well done.

I get that but wanted to know if you had any additional tricks of input.  I created this thread a couple of weeks ago that you can add to if you would like.

Did a good detail of the inside today.  The first cleaning after the winter season.  I did all the windows, floors, seats, dash.  Used air to blow out the cracks, cleaned all the door jams.  Basically, it looks new inside.

What do you guys use for your dash, vinyl and mats?   I don't like the ArmorAll wipes because they're too greasy.  I used turtle wax cleaner today (green bottle) and it smells awful!   Took that new truck smell right out.  I used it before, it will smell bad for a few days and return.

Anyone have any good cleaner to recommend that isn't overpowering???

Today, got a dent in the front passenger door from a baseball at my son's game today. Was it a foul ball? Nope. I park too far away for that. Kid that was warming up in the bullpen couldn't throw and managed to clear a 6 foot fence with his bad pitch. It was the 2nd time he hit my truck today. First time was the rear passenger door window.

I also washed my truck tonight. I then looked for leaks in the rear window. Still none. Washing allowed me to take a closer look at my truck's new dent. Paint is fine. I can fix the clear coat in my driveway. Hopefully PDR will remove the dent. Wife is deploying in late summer, so I'll take that time to have the dents removed from my truck. I'll just drive her car while it's in the shop.

Also, I have a fog light that is acting up. Occasionally it'll come on. Other times it won't. When it comes on it won't stay on. I've seen it flashing while I was driving around. I took a look at it and discovered the light and housing are 1 assembly. I wonder if the dealer will replace it under warranty, or if the dealer will tell me it's a normal wear & tear item.

Baseball dents suck. Had two in my last truck (one from a foul ball and one from my son who owes me a new truck if he makes it big [emoji23]) currrent truck got one at one of my softball games I believe. Not sure how as I parked far away. If it was a foul ball it was crushed

All were fixed via PDR for about $100 a dent

Below is my go-to unless it needs some serious attention, then I use a dilution of SuperClean.

https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/products/meguiars-quik-interior-detailer-g13616-16-oz-spray

If I need additional protection, I go with Aerospace 303.

I don't put anything on the floor mats. Just wash them with a dilution of SuperClean and give them a good rinse. I don't risk making them slippery when wet (or dry for that matter).
