I'm sure they are trying to cover their behinds, "45 SECONDS". REALLY?

Had a similar problem in my high country. Started the truck, put it in reverse real quick and the birds eye view that usually has the overhead picture of the truck was a black box. Once I turned it off and gave it time to reset after starting, it was back to normal. Usually I just wait for the gauge sweep to complete before I put it in reverse or gear and then there are no problems. All the computers need time to sync!

I never had this problem in my High Country or truck prior to that. I’m guessing they used a cheaper model camera that takes more time to boot up. Like the time it takes for a cheap tv vs a good tv to turn on. Very disappointing for a $60K truck.

Having same issue with the back up camera on my 2019 Silverado LTZ. The View changes to fish eye for no reason.  Happen a good bit Following this thread and hoping there is a software fix. Don't want to dismantle the dash of my brand new truck !

It’s a brand new model guys! With new parts. I understand the frustration, but I’m confident they’ll sort it out. Sounds like it’s a common issue.
If this is your most serious problem, you’re doing good.

I had a problem with my 2017 backup camera at night. It was blindingly bright. Sure enough, a TSB was issued shortly thereafter.
Problem solved.

+1 ....I'll be real happy if this is the only issue with my 2019

Go read the RAM forum if you think you have it bad..

Very true, I suppose that if it is something that is not fixable, once you get into the routine of not throwing it into reverse as fast as normal it will definitely be something that is manageable. I have a good friend that is a mechanic at the dodge dealership near me. He said that there are so many issues with the Rams that they have him working exclusively on them and nothing else.

Having the same camera issue maybe 1 out of 10 times. Anyone else having issues with changing radio stations via steering wheel? It's moving to the next station on the display but staying on the current station, thought it was just a delay but sometimes have to go back and then forward again for it to catch up.

Still a bunch of crap buy a 60k truck and they can’t finely tune something that is used every day. Does anyone else have a rattle coming from in the cab back in the rear when going over bumps? I have yet to take the time to figure out what that is

Probably the same back seat design as the K2s which Rattle also.

There are a few threads on this issue.

I believe it’s the pressure relief vents to allow the doors to close. If I hit the back of the seat with my fist gently it will rattle outsider.

Im gonna try to pull the rear seats this weekend

The problem is with the mounting hook brackets where the seat post hangs on them.

Something about a bushing that wears out or falls off and clanks around when hitting a bump.

Only seems to happen when the seat is down and not raised.

Yes I have had the same issue with my radio a couple of times too.  Also when using an sd card with songs it sometimes will play the same song over and over...stuck on repeat.  The infotainment system is quite buggy for sure

I stopped at the dealer yesterday to check and there is nothing available yet. I asked if when available if it could be downloaded automatically and they weren’t sure. They said they thought the automatic update was for non-functional updates like for a carrier or signal.

We understand how frustrating this situation must be for you, Chuck. If you have any other updates to provide from your dealership, feel free to send us a private message. We’re always happy to help out a valued customer.

Yep, that’s exactly what mine does. To my knowledge there still isn’t a fix yet.

My  camera has looked like that from day one, thought it must be normal  (lol)   guess not.

    • Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer
    • Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.
    • My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!
    • When a condition becomes a business model.    https://www.gm-trucks.com/gm-truck-suv-incentives-pricing-2026/   Zane posted this in "Latest Articles".    The honest bottom line   Truck buyers have spent three years assuming this is a temporary condition that will break once inventories normalize. GM just presented it to investors as a durable strategy, on a chart, as evidence of good management.   Inventory did normalize. GM is at 511,000 units and squarely inside its own 50 to 60 day target. The discounts still did not come back, because the low incentive number is the goal rather than a symptom of shortage.   Plan your purchase around that reality instead of waiting for it to change. Follow our ongoing GM News coverage for pricing and incentive changes as the next-generation trucks land.
    • Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
