Hi.

I own a 2015 Chevy 1500 Silverado 4.3L V6 CrewCab 5.8' Box.

Can I swap the rear differential from a V8 1500 Silverado onto my 1500 Silverado?

According to chevy I can tow max of 5,600lbs, I blew out my rear differential from towing 5,300 pound trailer, bearings are shot, shattered.

I believe you can. But I didnt think there was a difference between the v6 and v8 1500. Other than maybe gear. I know the 2500 is bigger axles. If the diff is the same I would just do a high end rebuilt with all better parts. Honestly I bet a performance rear end would only be $2500.

Your 2015 should have a 100k warranty, I'm not sure how common it is for rear ends to go out but it would be a cheaper option than paying money out of pocket.

^^Definitely make a warranty claim.  I tow similar weights with my '15 CC  but it came with the 3.42.  I doubt that I haves a different axle or transmission than found in the V8 version of my truck.

No you do have a different rear end in the V6 trucks.  You use the same old 8.6" 10 bolt that was in the previous trucks for decades.  The V8 trucks use the 9.5" if a non NHT 5.3 or the 9.76" if a 5.3 with NHT or any version of the 6.2.

5000 lbs is nothing though and honestly a defect of some kind.  The previous gmt900 trucks had tow ratings of around 9000 lbs while using the 8.6" 10 bolt rear end.
