11-1 Compression and VVT were not pushed into consumer cars for crude oil derived fuel. Age of Crude Oil is coming to a close.

Grumpy seems to think you’re so well read but I’m not convinced with these types of statements. 11-1 compression isn’t a lot. There’s oem blower and turbo motors that run that compression all day on pump gas

I have no idea your age but crude oil will still be the main source of fuel for automobiles long after your gone with batteries being a close second. Ethanol isn’t even a part of that equation and that’s because of batteries

Only if we take over Venezuela and Iran son.

BTW, Turbo a 11-1 compression engine? Really?

How come GM uses a lower compression ratio on its Turbo 2.0 4 banger?

How come everybody uses a lower compression ratio on boosted engines?

Top Fuel Dragsters use 6.5 to 1 son.....not 11-1.

Go read a book.

BTW,

June 1st the US is ditching its ban on Ethanol in the summer, and increasing US Gasoline to 15% ethanol.

Poor Canadians going to 20%.
