tannerm24 Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 No spacers. I believe 12.5 would fit. I’m not even rubbing a little at full lock. So there may have to be slight trimming with 12.5.
elleshoe Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Yea no spacers. I don’t want to run spacers. That’s the only thing holding me up from getting 12.50’s

Also do the tires stick out any on the sides? Any rubbing issues?.. Sorry for the bombardment of questions but I’m new to the truck scene. Thanks It's all good. No issues. Rides like factory. No rubbing. Tires do not stick out.

Make sure to measure your rake. I had the 1.5” level installed and it’s perfectly level. 2” would have been too much. Thanks for posting, good to know. That’s just very slightly smaller than a 295/65r20, so that should fit well too. I have 2” both front and back, so kept the rake.

lsubooth Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 2" level with 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers. No trim no rub. 2

Frank DeVoe Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Learning a lot in this thread, looks like a 2 inch level on my ltz 2wd will give plenty of room to put 33's on the stock 18's. Quick question though, is there one leveling kit that's better than the other when comparing a top spacer or bottom spacer? Thanks.
Satinsteelmetallica Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 You can fit 33's without a leveling kit with plenty of room. The stock wheels that came on my truck were 275 60 20 which is a 33. With the leveling kit you can go with a wider 33 or taller than 33. I have the 2 inch Rough Country level which is a bottom spacer with 295 60 20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 and it rides nice. I don't know if a top or bottom spacer is supposed to be better but so far I like the bottom spacer on my truck. 1 1
Ezekiel2517 Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 I called several level kit companies. Some claim top vs bottom doesnt matter. Others say top is better as it is more robust I'd u did actually go offroad
JHP Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Sorry to ask what may be for some of you the DUMBEST question of all time, but . . . what are all of you meaning when you say the term "rake"? ???? Just trying to learn the vocabulary.
