Degree dam I'm having hard time doing my GED lol. Anyway I got my truck back from the dealer and it was still making a rattling noise so I took it back turns out to be loose U Bolts ya the U Bolts that hold my rear diff to the springs but this was GM fault I had OK tire in Saskatoon install 3inch blocks on my truck at about 10 000km two years ago and now at 56 000km I finally discovered what that rattle but unfortunately it destroyed the blocks. Thanks OK Tire.

Ordered this off of Ebay since my headliner is sagging by the door. Not exactly cheap, but it's cheaper than a new headliner for now.

Finally got around to figuring out the mileage from a road trip (1138 miles) we just got back from. It was a treat not to be towing our tt this time. Went up through Montana, over to Washington, back down to Idaho. Fueled up five times differing driving condtions, most on two lane with 65-75 limits and alot of mountain passes with 25mph corners. We had a 14.8,14.37,12.3, 14.85 and 14.2 for mileage while keeping my eye on the tach. Looking back, the 12.3 mileage was a day that we were mostly in-town driving. Need to quit racking up the miles on our '05/6.0 though because we are up to 84,619....

Okay you wrench jockies with all of these high miles, what should I have in my tool box? Have most everything + other than a code reader...?

Serious, do all my own work and a bone stock type of guy. That is about the only thing I don't have.

Finally got to the as antifreeze change. In the interest of time before the big cross country trip I left the old thermostat alone. Finally got all the "must do" items done from when I bought the truck. Now for the want to do items...well and a few other new better get done soon items.

Shoot, that's not even broke in yet! Mine has 200,000 more, and still runs just as great!

Oh quiet down, you're still a 100k behind me...lol
