Doesn't look too bad. Ours look terrible after a decent trip along the river on Rt 22. Edited by Daryl Z71

Finally undercoated my rear wheel wells of the truck. I must say it came out rather nice but a tad pricey at 10 dollars a can for the 3m professional undercoating. Also installed new wipers got Bosch evolutions. Time will tell how they are.

I actually drove mine yesterday!

Had to go 80 miles into CT for some parts for the Volvo that I didn't want to wait on shipping, then from there had to go to my parent's place a few towns over from me to grab my brother's rear wheel off his Subaru - had a sheet metal screw in there. Used my Viair compressor & impact to zip that thing off, throw the donut on, and tighten it back down.

Had a full tank when I started ... now at a little above half. I had my foot in it quite a bit. Traffic was insane for a Sunday. Everyone's headed home from Independence Day last weekend it seems.

So nice to feel V8 power after driving a 4-banger for a month.

Cleaned it up after getting it back from the body shop after 7 weeks. Looked it over really good after it was all cleaned up and found more scratches and imperfections. The body shop has a lifetime on their paint and body work so they already know it's coming back. They also did a half ass job on my alignment, crooked about 30 degrees to the right.

I should be getting my new 5100 fronts in today and if I have time I'll install both front and rears. Gonna keep the setting at stock height on the shocks for the coils and just keep my 2" level

Been waiting for this day since I bought the truck - knew it was just a matter of time.

My suspicion of an issue when I had no comm with my scan tool months ago proved correct today. Went to get a sticker, failed for monitors not run. Haven't touched battery in YEARS, hasn't run low in over a year, and haven't had, or cleared any codes.

Yay! Get to troubleshoot 15,000 miles of OBD-II wiring today! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Monitors not run? What does that mean? Are you saying the OBDII outlet is acting dead?

Just stupid OBD-II bulls**t - if the monitors haven't run, they won't give you a sticker.

On my truck there's the catalyst, EVAP, o2, o2 heater, misfire, fuel system, and "comp component" (whatever the f that is ...) monitors. If any of them haven't run, no sticker. If you change batteries, or clear a code, this resets all the monitors. My truck just decided to reset itself. Or GM reset it via OnStar ... :wtf:

You get the big black "R" on your windshield, and the tax collectors (known as cops in other states) can pull you over at will. Of course, GM puts a totally unrealistic drive cycle in their programs. Your driveway would have to come out on a 4-lane expressway in order to make it run. In MA, this is totally impossible, unless you want to either lose your license for a year, blow the suspension right off the truck, or wrap the truck around a tree. If you don't drive alot (like me) it can take MONTHS for the monitors to run. I have 60 days, after which I have to pay $35 again.:mad::mad:

Turns out the inability to download PIDs was an issue on my end, which is also odd, because this is the first time I've had this issue in 9 years. I've had the same scan tool all this time, and I've never had to pick and choose which parameter to run. I ran Global instead of Domestic, and they all downloaded. Go figure. Friggin electronics for ya.
