What did you do with your truck/shop today

Dropped her off at the shop for the coolant leak. No sooner than I pulled in my driveway with my loaner I get a call from my service writer. Said they diagnosed it already and put the parts on order. Covered through my extended warranty. The actual cost was $1500 for a radiator replacement and a new thermostat, that's insane. I would do it myself if I didn't have my extended warranty.

 

Loaner car is a Chevy Cruze. Not gonna lie, it's a pretty nice little car, pretty peppy for what it is. Every once in a while it's nice to drive a car, makes you appreciate your truck that much more

Nice! I don't like the look of the new ones all that much. I like everything about mine besides the paint.

I like the new body styles too. If I were to only use my truck at home or at work I'd buy a commuter car such as the Cruze but I never know when I need my truck so I can't do that and save the miles on it lol

I wish I could sell mine honestly. We just don't have the room for parking at our apartment so I have to either swap between the Cruze or the truck. I hate having to let either one sit around for a long period of time without being ran, and I have way more interest in the truck. Edited January 10, 2017 by Daryl Z71

That's the hardest thing on a vehicle honestly is letting it set for long periods at a time

Yep, tires end up rotting, wipers get ruined, batteries go bad etc.

Can't believe in just a few months, it'll be 10 years since I signed papers on this thing. Man does time fly. Feels like I just bought the damn thing.

My truck looks like that 75% of the time during winter. Not much you can do about it up here.

When I had the G8, I paid for $25 a month for unlimited washes. I'm considering it again for the truck...but seem to be getting cheap as I get old.
