The chambered design is restrictive. And the throttle body spacer does nothing on port injection.

BINGO!

 

The OEM muffler flows better & is less restrictive than the BlowMaster. Should have done some research before buying. No big deal though, as long as you like it. They are cheap so you can always dump it later down the road for something else.

To me the Flowmaster was nice when I was 19-21 and never drove on the highway. I move to California and I am always on the highway I couldnt stand it anymore. I went from the Flowmaster to a MBRP. It sounds a lot cleaner and no in cab drone. Then I went with Corsa. Even cleaner sounding than the MBRP and gets louder than the MBRP when I get on it. You get what you pay for

There is also those 1" rear leaf spring perch spacers. They can be removed "for free" & help lower the back end of these NBS GM trucks about 3/4". They set up so high in stock form IMHO. Just be sure to add a washer (if your u-bolt runs out of threads) & echeck the torque on the nuts after you've driven your truck a few 100 miles....
