2014+ Suspension Lifts

Recommended Posts

For anyone who was wondering about tire fitment with a 4" lift, here are a few pictures of my truck. I ended up going with a 4" Fabtech and 295/60R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers with stock wheels. Rides great and only slightly rubs the plastic wheel well and full lock. Hopes this helps anyone who was curious.

Can you snap a pic of your CV angles. Might pull the trigger on this kit soon but want to see what your angles look like first.

Nice truck!! I think my next truck will be a Duramax on 37s in a few years time. How tall is your truck when measured to the XM antenna?

Ride is better than stock. Haven't got a chance to get her dirty yet. So far no rubs. Took off the air dam even though it wasn't needed. And took off the rear tire mud flap thing for more space there.

Tires are hostile havoc 20x9r20

0 offset. Will be getting 1.5" spacer probably to push out rear tire to match front width.

Quick hypothetical and sorry if its been answered. I have been looking at the Fabtech and McGauphy's 4" Kit and the RC 3.5" Kit (I know people hate it). All 3 of these are essentially a spacer with diff drop and new control arms....

My question: Would it be legit to leave my bottom RC Spacer in and take out the top (sitting at 2" level up front). Add bilstein 5100 at the mid setting (1.25") for a total of 3.25" of lift up front. Add uni-ball UCAs with diff drop and have a legit 3.25" lift and actually have equal or better angles than my current 2.5" level? You could also set the Bilsteins at 1.8" to give you 3.8" of lift and that would still be within the 4" realm that McGauphy's is offering. Or does that just sound ghetto as hell? Makes sense in theory and honestly think it would ride better than just a 3.5" or 4" spacer kit, just wondering opinions...
