I like the way it looks a lot better. I guess im not too concerned about thay, unless you are really looking for that you probably won't notice it. Not worried about the MPG either. Already have bigger tires on it and going to level it when I have time to install. How does yours look trimmed? Im keeping mine, if if does ever bother me that could be an option for me too.

What did you use to trim it?

Oh I agree, not noticeable unless you are close and looking down there. I just knew it was there so it stuck out to me more. I'm sure others wouldn't even notice. I'm not sure on if it really effects mpg either since I also have large LT tires. I'm pretty happy with how mine looks trimmed. I took a straight edge with a sharp utility knife and just scored it's it a time or two to get my cut line established then a few more passes with the knife and it was cut right thru. On the plastic I followed the top of those two lines that are embedded in the plastic.

Night pic after finishing up the body lift129C1A78-A7DB-4D1B-8044-6AC0888FA5B1_zps

Looking good. I see some of the trim missing, what are your plans for the wheel wells and the front end?

I thought about taking mine off and getting line x spray on them.

Washed it with eco smart

Cleaned the interior and conditioned the fake leather.

Looks good needs the wheels cleaned up but it will do fine for now.

How high are you going? In order to roll 37's and -76mm offset x14's you're gonna need about 10in. of lift on a 1500

I'm running 22x14s with -73 offset (I believe) with 37s I have a 9" McGaughys but had to add a 1.5" BL and I still rub. When I get back in town I'm going to do some trimming ff3e9f570631f5c792964bea59946225.jpg

Sorry if anyone works for them but I can't freaking stand UPS!!!

My Method NV's finally came in (back ordered for 3 weeks) and 2 out of 4 are damaged and I'm missing a center cap! The one that was damaged with the center cap was obviously re-taped. It looked like they just slid them across the floor! They lips were damaged through a thick piece of cardboard, sheet of plastic, methods cloth dust cover, a thick lip protector and a piece of foam packaging.... ALL THE WAY TO THE METAL!!! WTF UPS???

Not to mention that the wheels were also banded together within another 2 pieces of cardboard. This is ridiculous! How careless can you be??

As soon as I noticed I called up 4 Wheel Drive Hardware and within 15 minutes I had a claim approved and my new wheels are on the way. Very pleased with their customer service. I should have the two replacement wheels by the end of the week and they told me to keep the center cap from the other damaged wheel! Denise also told me that if UPS doesn't pick them up I can keep them and do whatever I want with them. Tailgate or chase rack mounted spare tires!! lol

Haha UPS did the same thing to my wheels! The lips had flat spots 3 or 4" long. The impact was so hard it pinched right through two thick layers cardboard and the foam protector. I swear they threw them right off the back of the truck.

For anyone that orders wheels, look at them close. Find a flat surface and roll each one to make sure they aren't out-of-round.

Added two O2 bungs so I can compare both banks. First time backpurging SS. Not perfect but more than good enough. I'm an amateur tig welder.

Its cool but man its pricey. Id love to have mine do phone mirroring, but theres so much else to spend money on for the truck! Lol Edited by dbcooper748

True, I was getting the navigation upgrade regardless, the CarPlay was just another 200.

Some people spend twice that on a set of wheels, it all depends on what one values or want :)

I agree completely! I might do it one day, but its gonna be one of the last things for me personally. Btw, some people even pay like 5xs more for wheels haha Edited by dbcooper748

Agreed, I would love to mirror my iPhone to my 8" truck screen, then use google maps for nav when needed, but I just cant drop 7 or 8 hundred bucks on it, way to pricey IMO. I'm contemplating buying an older ipad mini or a new kindle and buying a tablet mount that sits in the CD slot. Obviously it wont be as clean of an install though.

Wonder if they can upgrade a navi unit to do carplay?

I'm curious about that too. Already have Nav and dealer recently replaced radio module and software to improve radio reception and other bugs. So, really only need CarPlay.

    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
    • If you use compressed air regularly, one problem you cannot ignore is moisture. Water in the air line can cause rust, unstable air pressure, poor tool performance, and even damage to sensitive equipment. That is why I highly recommend using a desiccant air dryer. A desiccant air dryer is designed to remove moisture from compressed air by using drying materials such as activated alumina or molecular sieve. Compared with basic water separators, it can achieve much lower dew points, making it especially useful for applications that require dry and stable air. For workshops, painting systems, pneumatic tools, CNC machines, laser cutting equipment, and industrial production lines, a desiccant air dryer can make a big difference. It helps protect equipment, improve air quality, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the service life of the whole compressed air system. Another advantage is reliability. Many desiccant air dryers are built for continuous operation and can maintain stable drying performance even in demanding environments. For users who care about long-term efficiency and equipment protection, this is a smart investment. When choosing a desiccant air dryer, I suggest paying attention to air flow capacity, working pressure, dew point performance, regeneration method, and maintenance requirements. A good model should match your compressor system and actual air consumption. Overall, if moisture is causing problems in your compressed air system, a desiccant air dryer is definitely worth considering. It is practical, efficient, and highly useful for anyone who needs clean, dry, and reliable compressed air.
    • My brand new 2007 Silverado's wax frame was rust from end to end partway through it's SECOND winter here in MA. That stuff is completely useless.
    • I went another direction after losing a trailer tire, thanks to not being able to access air at ANY of the 5 gas stations and garages I stopped at prior, with a Toyota Tacoma onboard, 50 miles from the Canadian border. They were either out of order, access was blocked, or the hose a few feet too short and I couldn't get any closer without risking damage to someone's property.   https://postimg.cc/gallery/X5QJ55w
    • I took a 12 second video on my iphone but the file is too big to upload. I will have to figure out how to extract the audio or just do another start with an audio recording.
